Default Questions about HFP suspension

I was about to buy Eibach Sportlines and HP's for the old ep3, about $600. I just saw some guys at ephatch selling brand new HFP suspension setup for $400. I was wondering what the drop was with the HFP and from anyone running this setup what they think about it, especially if anyone has comparison between HFP and the Eibach/HP setup.

Thanks

I installed my HFP suspension last weekend and I love it. The car actually feels more confident at freeway speeds and it completely eliminates that overly top heavy feel that creates the SUV like drive of a stock EP.

It's a little stiffer than stock; but it won't wreck your spine like many aftermarket suspensions might. I can't really give a fair comparison for the HP/Eibach setup; but for what it's worth I had a KYB/Prokit combination on my old EK at the softest setting and the HFP is about the same, maybe just a tiny bit softer.

The drop is ~1"; but honestly most people with a DD EP won't find the need to go below 1.5" and at that point your *best* options are the Mugen SS/~1.3" ($1100) or HFP/~1" ($400 - 500).

Here's a pic I took after installing the HFP to give you a general idea of the drop:

I agree, I dont want the slam the car. I dont want the ride to be too rough, because this is a DD. I also didnt want to spend over $1000 for the Mugen, so I thought the Eibach/HP would be a good setup, but some guys say it handles great, but its a little harsh. Plus the HFP sounds like a really good deal at $400.

Thanks for the feedback.

the eibach kit will give you around a 2 inch drop, while the HFP gives you around a 1 inch.

i would go for the HFP because the eibach neets new alignment and its stiffer and all this other crap, un less your serious and doing auto x every weekend and do professional competition etc...

HFP

im putting prokit springs on my accord, but thats only because honda doesnt offer HFP for my CG3 (02 accord) anymore
