cam question
I have 99 civic coupe wit JSPEC GSR. my set up is:
intake
DC JDM ITR header
car sound cat
Apexi N1 cat back for civic
FPR
VAFC2
Flywheel
My current best 1/4 time is 14.6@94mph wit a 2.3 60ft
My goal is to break into 13s
I am now starting a new set up with hopes of getting there consisting of:
Kteller 2.5 cat back straight to the muffler
Skunk old or ne pro series Mani
skunk cam gears
My question is that i was told by a builder that CTR intake cam would be adequet for my set up to get to my goals. would any of you agree, or do u believe that its better for me to spend the extra money and move up to the skunks?

If you are only going to go stage one, I would just get the CTR cams... I have some for sale if you're interested...
However, If you wanted to move up, your compression would need to be higher (milling your head and/or getting a thinner head gasket and/or pistons), and you would need to get some valvesprings and retainers for anything over a stage 1 cam...
From what I understand, 190whp is good for some decent 13's in an integra gsr, so if you are somewhere around that # then you should have no problems.
