1991 Honda CRX Engine swap B18C5 DOHC VTEC type R
I've been thinking latly of doing an engine swap, while still having a daily driveable car that pushes 400hp+ I want to put in a B18C5 Dohc vtec type r engine into my CRX.
My plan was to try and get the engine to run around 250-300 hps with no turbos, then add the turbos to get the car to push an easily 400+ whp's. I Know ill need to throw in forged pistons and rods. I want to improve the bottum end along with the uper. I would also like to get as much torque as I can get out of the engine, while not going through clutches/axles/trannies. I want the car to last if you know what I mean
.
Now I have a few questions, First the basic question(btw money is not an issue)
1. Any idea's on how I can go about to achieve my goal?
2. What are some good part companies to use for the engine?
3. Im sure im not asking enough questions, so if you guys can enlighten me that would be sweet.
4. Would http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/nc...r=361 be good to use for the bottum end with the b18c5 type r? I've been reading up about the block, and it fully supports higher hps + forced induction + its all alumninum. Would the whole thing fit together?
5. More questions will come im sure, im still looking into everything.
Any help would be apreciated + tips. I want thecar to be reliable and easily be avail for an every day driver.

I'm looking into getting a 91 crx hf and was wondering if I would be able to put a b18c5 in it or even a b16A2. If so which parts would i need to replace in order for the car to run smoothly, I.E. Transmission, steering column, things of that nature.
