Hi i'm new to the form i'm in the middel of building my ls/vtec but still have lots of more parts to buy so for now i was thinking of puting a z6 head on my 1.5 but right now it smokes bad i did'nt want to but the z6 head on and still smoke how can i get a good idea where the smoke is coming from rings?valve seals?It is a cx motor the guy put a 16 valve head on it they told me that the head was just siting around in the shop for awhile so i was thinking maybe the seals where just old,It only smokes if i get on it.If i take it easy and stay under 2000 rpm it wont smoke.I took the valve cover off and looked around the pass side of the head theres lots of black oil siting in there on the drivers side of the head theres normal amount of oil siting any ideas?Thanks,Roger

is it like steam or is it really smoke. and exactly where is it coming from

 

Its a white/bluish smoke coming from my muffler only when i drive it hard but i take easy under 2000 rpm it does'nt smoke
