bad axle?

how can you tell if you have a bad axle? is there anything i can listen for or should feel when im driving?

Listen for a ticking noise when you take sharp turns, like in a parking lot.

thats actually a bad cv joint that will click, if your axle is bad(bent or broken) you would know it by now, either the car wont drive or will shake horribly if bent
