DYNO'd the TQless wonder today...... i was impressed.....172/110...
I test and tuned for an hour and got 15 runs in.
Started out at 165/107 ... not bad for what mods i have.
I still need a FPR due to needing more fuel up top.

WARNING its big
Mods are:
B16a2 bottom, mugen headgasket, B18C5 head w/ portflow inners, ITR outers and crower Ti retainers.
SMSP 4-1 street header ...non adjustable.
3" custom intake
2.5" carsound high flow cat
2.5" custom exhaust
VAFC and Yoshio ECU
Toda Spec B cams
Toda 1st gen gears at 0-0
But the a/f was still at 13.8-13.9 past 7400, so once the gears are adjusted and i get the FPR maybe 180/115...
My goal was 170+whp and i got it so i am happy, even better is it should be higher w/ more tuning.
For 100$ an hour WITH wideband 02it cant be beat.... thanx to
www.balancedperformance.com
I reccomend this shop to anyone, ESPECIALLY the locals...and its 10 minutes from my house..eheh.
YACK ...i wish you were here to fine tune it...doh.
I am trying to host the charts ...so they will be up later today.

Patrick, you can adjust that thing with extensions. 2", 3" etc. You could even shorten the primaries with a handy saw.

Those are pretty good numbers.
My friend's B16 did the exact same (171.1/110.4) with CTR cams, CTR pistons, ITR intake manifold, JDM 4-1 and cam gears.

Thanx guys, i am happy to see the results and estatic that is has more in it.
Mike, i probably need more compression, fuel and to advance the cam gears to get all the power out of it.
But i like the powerband and cant wait to go back to the dyno.
Hopefully i can get another 5-10WTQ and 10WHP out adjusting the cam gears, i have been told i can..so we'll see.

very nice numbers, the rise after 5000 rpms is pretty impressive for a b16a. Looks like you need to move the vtec point even higher, some guys with Toda B's run vtec point of 7300 or so, looks like that is what you need. The torque curve does get a big erratic on the top end , more fuel may help that out. Looking at the a/f ratio curve, it looks like the bottom end could benefit from being a good bit leaner, the mid range should be a bit richer, and top end just a tad bit richerl, the top end ratio is actually pretty decent, but you should be able to make more power by dropping it down closer to 13:1 (richer). A good cam gear tuning session may be good too, but you may find the best power curve will result in extremely poor idle as you increase overlap, so not that practical for settings on a daily driver. I am up to 120 ft lbs of torque on my b16a , but I am just shy of 170 whp, and my torque drops off much faster after 7500 rpms in comparison to your torque curve which is much flatter. My new exhaust system seems to have added to those numbers though from what the butt tells me, so I am hoping for about 175 whp and 122 ft lbs torque next time out on the dyno.
good luck

Thanx reid i fixed it.
Guys thanx, hopefully 180/120 is coming soon.
I am working on getting the FPR and FPG gauge now.
Not to shabby tho for a b16a2...

not bad, still has much more potential, defiantly 180whp is achivable, also which Yoshio program are you running (stock JDM) if so, then there is still much more potential from the ecu.
my old setup 157whp and 112lbs of torque:
tanabe header 4-2-1
RSR GTII exhaust
gutted cat http://www.hyperducktuning.com ecu (mugen program)
no tuning, no cams, running stock airbox, after i sold it the owner tuned and got close to 175WHP with intake and cam gears
