Default Itr cams and making power?

My friend has a ITR swap in his civic and the car pulls all the way over 9 and i have a set of itr cams, if i get the ITR valvetrain can i shift that high make power and be desently safe as far as valve float is concerned? Ive got a gsr block a b16 head and the cams and vlavetrain are going in a b16 head. I just want to shift higher only if im making power there. THanks guys.

Yeah, Honda just uses girdles for the bling factor
Block girdles do actually perform a useful function.

why in the hell would you want to rev a stock ITR valve train up to or past 9k rpms, you will see no power up there! i have a ITR motor in my civic never go past 8400-8500, no need to, jus bad for the motor
