Squeaking Brakes
Drums or discs? Have you recently had them serviced? Some sprays work ok for temporary fixes, but many times, you just have to let it work itself out if they are new, or if they are worn, replace pads or drums (whatever case may be).
if it is drums ,,,,remove drums get some brake cleaner get some fine sand paper, spray shoes and drums with brake cleaner, sand down shoes and drums with sand paper, clean again with brake cleaner make sure they are adjusted properly not too tight so they are dragging....
if rear discs make sure wear bar is not hitting rotors meaning you need rear pads and rotors are not grooved or heat cracked if enough pads left , remove pads, sand down with sand paper, clean pads + rotors with cleaner put all together ...it also helps if they are factory pads cheap aftermarket pads have a tendency to squeal quite a bit

if they are rear disc, are the pads wearing thin to the point that the "squealers" are sounding off when brakes are applied? (checking that the brake fluid is low on the master cyl is also a giveaway that u will have to change either front/rear brake linings soon). another cause mebbe the slider caliper pins are not lubed enough so when u disengage the parking brake, the pads don't retract enough from the rotors...
drums: well u have to pull them off to inspect if the shoes are wearing thin to the rivets/metal backing (if glue-bonded).
that solution to remove brake dust came in an aerosole can? Brakeclean or some other name? yep worth buying it. ($2 per can @ walmart too).
