WRX at expo?
hey guys, just wanted to start off by saying that all the pics from expo are SWEET!
I noted there were a few Sti's and one white WRX. I would expect the Stis to be quick, but how did the WRX keep up? Anyone know?
Thanks

It has been my experience that during events such as these it’s the drivers that make 90% of the difference. Knowing how the various cars did against one another is misleading.

The WRX driver was reasonably quick, particularly in turns 9-11 (according to my co-driver). ...although I think he was slower than me in the wet, which suprised me at the time. Then he got off track, so he may have been doing a cool-down lap.
Remember -- straights are for fast cars, turns are for fast drivers.

Awwe c'mon post up your details for the forum to see, I know I'd like to see. I've had varied experiences with WRX's Sti's and EVO's on different tracks in my groups. And I've also Autocrossed a WRX a few times in the past.
I gotta agree with BABY NSX, as per comparisons in DE's. Unless it's an advanced group where pretty much everyone is at close to similar levels and abilities the comparisons are just about moot.

I can vouch for that as well.

i just wanted to see how my sled stacked up to your "out of the box track ready" machines there.
Ive gotten to drive both at autoxes, but never on track. Just curious.

certainly, but the circuit is about the driver, not the car so much.
