I have a 2000 civic hx. recently the check engine light came on. The code was for the egr valve -low flow. I took it off and cleaned it and the two ports. It was good for a day or two, then the light came on again. Any guesses what else to try before I spend the money on a new valve?

That's a common prob with egr. I don't know of any way to fix it without replacing it.
