Highway Racing Ticket
my bro was pulled over for "highway racing" last night. my brother has a very loud magnaflow exhaust and he was hitting redline at the time then he saw some cars on the side of road so he slowed down. by the time he passed the cars, he realized they were cops who pulled over another car.
the cop pulled him over and gave him 5 ticket: tinted windows, no front plate, ..., failure to follow police directions, and racing on the highway.
does anybody know what failure to follow police directions are? my brother is saying that he might have seen the cop wave his flashlight but he didnt pay attention to it because its just a flashlight.
for the racing part, the cop asked him who he was racing. my brother said nobody. he asked him again and my brother denied it again. i guess the cop has no proof that he was racing because there was no car in sight with my brother on the highway. the only reasonable conclusion that i have come up with as to why he pulled over for "highway racing" was because of his loud exhaust during redline.
has this ever happened to anybody? what should he tell the judge? even if hes telling the truth, the judge will most likely take the cop's side.

What the hell was he doing at redline on the highway???
Sounds like he was doing a ricer flyby and got caught! LoL... he deserves the tickets, maybe he'll think twice next time before speeding like that.
Oh, and there doesn't have to be another car present for you to get a racing ticket, driving at redline would be enough.

but cop has no proof of speeding or racing. will the sound of an exhaust at full throttle hold in court?
will getting a lawyer help lower the chance of getting points for the racing ticket?
