im running a uberdata chipped p28 on my 92 gsr (w/ LS engine, but thats not the point). ive loaded the xtronics romulator program on my laptop and i connected it using the serial port. now i tried sending a file to the rom without the romulator plugged to the ecu everything works fine. ill verify the rom and everything checks out ok. but as soon as i plug the romulator into the ecu, the romulator program reads LOOKING FOR ROMULATOR. ive tried turning the key to ON and still nothing. ive emailed xtronics but i wanted to see if anyone else had this problem. thanks

Does uberdata require you to use the xtronics software?
I use hondata and Crome Pro and do real time programming through the editing software itself, I never installed anything from xtronics..

 

With Hondata, you use Romeditor to load a program onto the Romulator. You don't use the Intronix software.
