my friend got a b20 and gave me his d16y8 (sohc v-tec) for the civic 2000 ex... the swap is done but im missing the knock sensor... also im still using the dx civic hatch tranny... the car is real laggy and slow... could it be the tranny(since the gears are so long) or could it be the knock sensor not being put in? i mean the car is pretty slow... im guessing a little slower than the dx motor, and a lot less pickup... what could it be?
