No Oil!

Default No Oil!

wtf! so i stop at a diner for a late night meal, and get back in my car. Try to start it up, and nothing. So someone next to me asks whats wrong, we check it out, and my dipstick is bone dry! THe thing is on the way there i had vtec and the car was running plenty strong.

Whats happening!?

it started right back up when i threw in half a quart and drove it home. Tomorrow i will do a full change but it has only been like 1500 miles since my last oil change

godd of course this had to happen right after my drag racing ticket when my roomate and i went from a light on the way to the diner. NOT GOOD

Where would all my oil have gone!? this is ridiculous im not losing any on the ground i barely even drive it

sounds like you drive in high rpm's alot. thats where it gets burnt off at.

but ya i would say you are burning oil

Oil was the quaker state high performance. The one with the STI in the commercial. Never had this problem before, so im making the switch to mobil one.
Not gonna lie tho last night was scary

if you're leaking or burning, switching to synthetic won't help. plus it'll cost you more to top off your oil. you might want to try a heavier weight (10w-40) to see if that helps with consumption. what motor are u running and how many miles do u have on it?

try checking it fairly often... ive seen alot of vtec motors burn oil off quickly...
