Default Header question

I have been seeing some really cheap *** headers on ebay lately, and i am wondering, are they just as good as the expensive ones or what?. Another question, whats a reasonable price to pay for good used DC-Sports 4-2-1's?

i've been reading good things about the Megan headers lately. nice bang for the buck. Search up on them.

not sure if you want to go near eBay headers.

I actually bought the Megan racing headers and they are quite good... Nice welds and seemingly good quality construction. They did turn straw then blue and now purple pretty quickly but they look bitchin... I'd post pics but the only ones I've got are friggin huge...

yes, they're interchangeable. any D-series header should work.

i bought a cheap "Focuz Motorsport" ceramic coated one on eBay for $110 shipped for my D16y8 a couple of months ago. Welds are actually pretty decent and no signs of cracking anywhere .

25 bucks for headers???? Dont go for them, look at the S&H, 55$. Your better off saving about 150 for 4-1 megan headers. But from what ive heard it drops to low and you will scrape if your car is dropped. Not worth it, just save up for some AN-R or profab headers, both about 500.

I have the racing H&R lowering springs (2.5 inch drop) (thats how i bought the car) so that wont work. and your saying something about $500 headers, pff screw that, thats a 1/3 of the price for a turbo

true, the headers are expensive but i rather go NA then turbo, thats just me. Do what u want man, i boult those cheap header before and they were good but i kept scraping the bottom, so from experience i rather save up for better headers then the cheap one.
