Check ENGINE LIGHT at high RPMs in 3rd gear

I searched various topics throughout the site, but couldn't come up with anything. When I blast through VTEC in 3rd gear, from 7-8200, the check engine light comes on.

Any reason for this? Or does anyone know/can anyone help me out?

Let me know either way.

7-8200? LOL. Maybe because redline is at 7250.

is ur engine still in the engine bay???
or it might be the flux capacitor.
check that out.

check your oil. low oil pressure will set off the check engine light. the vtec solenoid needs oil pressure to work. low or no oil and you will have a check engine light.
