P1259 check engine light ..... vtec system problem... maybe vtec solenoid??? HELP!!!
i just ran about ten minutes ago a check engine light and its p1259 as above.... vtec system malfunction...... could this be the Solenoid... or something else ... let me know what you guys think and ... yeah well i was shifting into thrid gear got to vtec engagement point and vtec sputtered off and on then off then back on fine 
no prob since ... gimme some ideas fellas Please

ok so i checked the oil and the level is fine ... im going to take it off and check the screen someone said that it may be blocked with sludge considering the motor has 138k on it so it may be possible .... good thing we are getting ready to do a rebuild ... any mor esuggestions will be greatly appreciated ... thanks alot guys ..
