Does anyone prefer GM synchromesh AFTER using Royal P or Redline?
So many people preach synchromesh, but when asked how it compairs to other fluids, they just say it is better than Honda oil.
I love my penzoil syncromesh.
Dont get the GM syncromesh get the pensoil. It is the same thing but $10.00 cheaper

Not entirely true.
GM has the Friction Modified one that Penzoil does not have.

i THINK the friction modified formula was better for cars with LSDs. Its been a while since i looked into them, and I think that was the conclusion. i ended up not getting the GM, saved me money and still worked well.
Yeah, I have the LSD and I ended up getting the Penzoil brand. I wil put it in tommorrow and post the results, since I was running Royal Purple before

I've used GM syncromesh, but realized that it doesn't work as well once it's heated up. No major complaints, but shifting gets harder as I heat up the tranny more. Just recently switched to Redline MT 90 and I like it better than GM syncromesh, it behaves the opposite. Kinda whatevers when the tranny is cold, but once it heats up it feels much better than GM syncromesh or Honda MTF.
just switched to GM synchromesh from OEM honda mtf, and its a huge difference. i didnt think it would do much, but i no longer have a grind when i shift into 3rd, and none in 5th when i shift into that gear also. it feels fine at high temp too, running jdm lsd tranny
