Tuning success story: VAFC II = +13.4whp on Mustang Dyno
Gained power throughout the powerband, and peak raised from a measly 150.8whp to 164.2whp @ 7250rpm; torque raised up about 5 to 131.0 ft/lbs @ 5250 rpm. Runs were done on the same Mustang dyno on the same session/settings about 45 minutes apart or so i would guess. First run was the lowest and last was the highest. This is with a "street tune" you might call it...going for overall drivability with good power and a decent AFR overall.
Setup:
'93 Si, h22a with h23 AUTO tranny...unfortunately for now
Injen ram air intake w/cold air extension and a bypass valve
Thermal exhaust
Magnaflow (CarSound) cat
VAFCII
I would post the dyno chart but I have no access to a scanner, if I can find one I would be happy to post. This is mostly just in response to all the VAFC-haters that are out there.
I would have happily gone to Crome for tuning but there is no option for my current setup due to the auto tranny. I'm just sick of people saying that the VAFC isn't worth anything just because there are better alternatives out there. This is proof enough that it works.

the people who know what they are talking about know that the vafc will not work for heavily modded engines as well as it will for stuff like your setup...
on motors that need a lot of tuning to get to run right the vafc is a terrible choice....
but your results look good....
