Default ZC block and head

I was wondering if the block from the sohc zc and the head from the dohc zc were compatable?

the block of the SOHC ZC is the same as D16A6.

im not sure if A6 block matches with a DOHC ZC head, but i figure someone else can tell you that.

The DOHC head will not bolt up to any SOHC blocks the bolt pattern on the head is different.

Then you must have had a DOHC ZC block, because I keep reading on here that the DOHC ZC head will not fit on any other D-series block besides the DOHC ZC block.

I do remember reading about someone putting a DOHC ZC head on a SOHC block, but it took a lot of work and isn't worth it, and I highly doubt I'll be able to find that thread.
