wiring amp to stock head unit
what/how do i run an amp, to two subs in my trunk and my 6 in-cabin speakers, using my stock head unit?

You need whats called a line level converter it takes speaker level and makes them rca cables, all you have to do is find your speaker wires, splice them then run rca's to your amplifier.
Or if you amp has speaker level inputs you can use those instead. Just run speaker wires to your amplifier and tap your speaker wires coming off the deck.
