Who has the auto lock?
I just ordered it off the net. Along with my alarm system, it should help quite a bit to deture wannabe criminals from ripping off my car.
What do you guys think? I know not everything is 100%, but its better than nothing right? Does anybody here have one? What do you think of it?
Thanks guys!

it'll probaby deter an amateur theif.. i think if a pro theif wants your car its theirs no matter what you have... i might buy one just for another layer of security (along w/ my alarm, club, kill switch, batt back up and hood lock) if i can find anotha friend to buy one w/ me.. its sumthin like 1st one is $60 and the 2nd one is $30.. so split the cost.. it'd be $45 each... for me and my friend lolz..
I still think that this place http://www.arcotrac.com/ offers the best form of security. The only thing the other stuff does is slow a thief down, Could you imagine the look on the thiefs face when the cops show up at the location where the car is being stripped. I would love to see it.
Pop that **** in the head with a 2 by 4 across the skull !!!

If you buy it off ebay, you do not qualify for the reimbursement if you car was stolen unless it was purchase in a retail store plus you have a receipt for it. You MUST also send in the registration card by 10 days or else you get the picture.... no $$$ if you car get stolen. Also, I have seen a post about a guys car being stolen with the autolock on it. When he contacted autolock about his reimbursement since he had the autolock install. Autolock refused his claim because they "NEVER RECIEVED" his registration of the autolock. So he was out of luck
So a rule of thumb, when you send it the registration card, make sure you send it in REGISTERED MAIL. So you know they would have recieved it.

Hey I have a autolock what an alarm. I even put it on when I park it in my garage. I just try to make it a habbit to put it on every time I get out of the car. You have to think of it this way. Is that 10 secons it takes to put it on every time worth it? I would say so considering how all you have to cut the alarm to get a car. Backup sirens are a plus as well with a aditional pwr source.
I wonder why they cant make an alarm that dissengages the hood when its going off. Or do they?

I'm not sure they do. they would have to put a mechanism in that disengages the cable so that when they try to pop your hood it wont. I'm sure they can do this tho.
