Default rant: si mufflers dont fit and dx or other model

so got myself a 89 si muffler and i tried to put it on my 91 dx, will i learned the hard way that the si mufflers are a bit thicker so they wont boltup right, now my car sounds like a freakin raspy harely

i got an si exhaust on my dx...and it fits perfect...super quiet

really...........you didnt have a problem with the muffler not being able to connect to the pipes right, cus i get most of the air flow coming out were they are suppose to connect so i dunno how to next them to were it doesnt give me that raspy sound

88-89 are differente that 90-91 they bolt up to the midpipe differently.

i had a Si Muffler on my 90Cx and it worked Pimp.. Actually i kept the muffler after i sold the car i liked it so much haha.

also had a Si exhaust on my dx forever. It was from a 89 Si, and my DX is a 90.
I also had the full cat back however upgrade it!

yeah the stock piping is starting to rob me of power...im gonna not run a cat and go 2/12 inch piping all the way to the stock si muffler and go with slightly larger diameter tailpiping(should only sound slightly more aggresive) and get back my stolen horses ill give u my old piping when im done if u want
