Default NA is too much damn $$$ for not enough power....

Alright guys im been researching all motor for about a month now and decided against it.....Now please DO NOT flame me for saying any of this
I am going to go forged pistons (same compression) and eagle rods....
already got stainless steel valves and direct port installed...
also I have a 255lph fuel pump, 2fprs for nos and motor, and fuel rail
so everything is already set up for NOS
I am going to keep my 100 shot Direct port and try and find a few extra whp laying around from bolt ons etc....
what should I get...I should be making 260whp after I tune...I would like to know where I can free some extra whp without bumping my NOS anymore

I agree. But I still like all motor setups as well as turbo.

so the 100shot gives you 100 horses.
how long do you have the 100 horses for?

exactly..

u just keep pushing that button around the track through corners and stuff.

why don't ppl understand.. yes nos givesyou poewr. but only 10 seconds at a time.

some of you guys need to lighten up a bit. Give the guy some credit. I think he knows what he's doing. It's HIS car let him do what he wants.

alright, let me say this once....

you are soooooooo gay for wanting to go fast in a straight line 1/4 mile only. that is all.

power is great, knowing what to do with what you have is 10x better....

EDIT - ...Although I do suggest trying out AutoXing. For me, going fast along with rotating the steering wheel seems more fun that drag racing. Never been to the strip so maybe I don't know any better.

Drag racing an R is stupid, and degrades its existence

Jason- who will be quiet now

Not going to get into this discussion...hehehe. Two different worlds drag and autocross. You do what you wanna do with your ride.... It's more of a challenge & fun to work on an NA motor IMO. Have fun spraying

I gave my opinion, and I agreed to be quiet, which could also be observed as "giving it a rest".

BTW, I'm not into auto-x, but thanks for the speculation
