Does anybody out there know anything about the ATTS box on the SH ludes? Is it removable?... can it be replaced with an LSD? Has anybody done this before?

Thanks in advance

Yes, you can remove it, although I believe you would need a base model tranny.. then you would simply cut the ATTS wires on the ECU and remove the ATTS fuses and actuators... Ya mind as well keep it..

Why'd ya get an SH for then?

I want SH interior door panels (Puddle lights) hehe.

SH's come with a light in the glove box to?? To take off your ATTS, you could probably just undo the wire to its computer box. Its seperate from the ECU, but it sits right next to it....

I fyou remove the atts, you will also have to deal with the fact that an intermediate shaft cannot bolt to the block. So a custom axle is needed as well.

Very simply- NOT REALLY.
There is much more to it than just the unit itself. Computers, wiring, suspension pieces, etc. You asked about switching to an LSD. The cost of this swap is quite high and you would be better served to trade the car for a Base 5 speed and convert it.

Well... I wasn't really gonna do it... just curious if it was possible... or if anybody did that before. Anyways... yeah... I won't have my car for about 3 weeks or so, so I'm just pretty much thinking out loud.

I did go to the track last night though... being that I didn't have my car... i rode my friend's hybrid 92 Civic. I ran a 15.34... I think that's pretty good considering that was my very very first run... not to mention in somebody else's car. He ran a 14.7 with it though. ok... this is getting OT...
