I know my IACV is messed up, but instead of just whinning it now makes the car surge like crazy, sometimes long surges, sometimes short fast rapid ones, but now the ecu is throwing an o2 code but not the IACV code, why? Is it possible that the surging had anyhting to do with it or is my fuel just too rich along with the idle controller? The o2 sensor is only a few weeks old!

In addition to this is there anything I can put in place of the o2 sensor to kill the code from showing up?

car has completely free flow exhaust with the exception of a resonator and is also obd0 D16A6
