dont know why my b16a1 swaped rex is misfiring at 5000
my motor (b16a1 - pr3 computer)seems to be running fine till around 5000 the computer sends no cels and the plugs look real good (not lean or rich) alittle speckled from probibly detination because the motor was timed completly advanced. but i timed it dead on. i think its the coil in the dizzy but dont really know . does anyone have a prodedure to test the coil becasue i dont want to loose 80 bux for a coil i cant return . the vacuum lines are all on perfect no leaks to the diagram for b16a1 crx sir's. if its not sending a cel's but feels like a mis alittle before vtec what do you guys think it is ?? help a honda brother out
Ohm your spark plug wires, and then ohm your coil. There is a step by step procedure in your manual with pictures. Any moron can do it. If they test fine I would test your fuel pressure next before and after filter. Kinda hard to do I you don't have the tools just replace the filter and then test fuel pressure at the rail.
the plung wires are from a type r and alost new had smae proble mwith old wires, had the problem for the past year cuold it be thecoil under high load? the rest of the dizzy looks fine. where do i get the procedure?
