ok my friend just called, blew his Z6 in his 95 EX coupe.

should he get the EG D15 vtec or a EK D16 vtec?? (not sure on exact engine yet)

whaich would be easier to swap, better in the long run (he doesnt plan to do much with it other than intake and exhaust), any noticeable power loss in the D15??

get a 95 ex z6 motor....

 

Z6...i would never go back down to a 1.5 just my opinion though

 

z6 or y8 but hell id rather just go with the z6 because of the wiring.

 

well actually the most hosepower comes from the jdm d15b its 130 while the z6 has 125 and the y8 has 127. i personally would go with the d15b unless you can find a low millage d16y8 for cheap.

 

Maybe an LS swap? I love LS swaps in EGs for a daily driver.

 

yeah, but you'll never really get anything out of those motors as far as real performance, you should just bump up to a b16 (si) or a b18c1 (gsr motor)
