d15 or d16
i have a 96 civic cx, which has a d15y7, i dont want to get b series engine swap just caz i can get a turbo kit from a buddy for 1000-1200 bucks verse 3500 for a b. i dont know if this question has been asked a thousand times, but should i swap out my d15 and get a d16y8 and turbo it or just keep the d15, caz i havent heard of many d15 fi. thanks
If its a 96 I think its a D16y7 some people turbo those the D16y8 will make more power but go to http://www.turbod16.com you will find alot of info there.

Thats probably wrong..... because the CX and DX have the same engine and the DX is a D16 ok the best way to find out it to go look on your engine it should be on a little plate on the front left side of the engine.
