Pulling Hard Left??
Ok this is really hard to explain but i am goin to try my best..i bought a 92 civic shell from a junkyard, put a sec gen b16 wit a kazz lsd, now i just replaced the steering rack cause that last one had lots of play, now just brought the car to the aligment shop, now when i drive ever time i give it gas the car pulls left and when i try to straighten the steering wheel back its click really loud, the guy at the shop told me my axles are bad but i just replaced them, but if the axles are bad will they make my car pull? when i had the car with the stock motor it drove fine...TIA
Yes i think so, this tech by me said to check the motor mounts cause the can cause the problem wit giving it gas and letting off in sync wit the the clicking noise...or my axles but wil axles make the car pull hard?
If it's pulling hard to one side it certainly sounds like a LSD problem to me... especially with the clicking... but I thought that Kaaz's were clutch type LSD's so I don't know that they'd click.

Did you do the required figure 8's and circle turns in the parking lot to get it situated before you went and ripped on it?

yeah you gotta break those lsds in. you also have to use the right fluid. if it's just got honda mtf in there you're gonna have noise. if it's pulling left under acceleration it sounds like the lockup might be messed up. maybe time for a rebulid, but i'm told that kazz clutch packs tend to last longer than the tranny they're in if broken in right and changed with the right fluid every 5k miles.

the lsd unit is not broken in yet i thought when i got the swap it was broken in..when steve at hmotors rebuilt 3rd and 4th he told me the unit looked fine... i am using the kazz fuild that i bought from them, i have bought this fuild two time already, can i use any other fuild that is cheaper, i'm sick of paying the 60 bucks for 2 qts...
i just went out and did the figure 8's for a good half hour and the clicking went away then i drove home and it came back now whenever i let off the gas and driving straight it clunks...i dont' know..
I am having the same problem with my car, i have a stock y21 tranny with OEM LSD. It seems whenever i turn the axle is making a noise like it wants to come out. Could it be an LSD Problem, anyone with any ideas let me know.

Check your axles first. When u turn and clunk its usually ur axle goin out.

Yes i know that but the problem i am trying to figure out is why is there a big clunking noise whenever i let off the gas goin straight?? the lsd is not ingaged when driving straight...i get the normal chatter when turning but nothing like when i let off the gas??? Do it mean anything that its pulling left, i am goin to try to replace the driver side axles tommorow and see what happens...

i am experiencing a similar problem but with my rsx. I recently installed a used itr lsd and it pulls rather hard to the right but i dont hear any noise with my lsd. i thought it was an alignment issue but it still does it. some people said it was a bad install and wrong shims were used but the install was done by an acura tech who has done many lsd's before. Were gonna tear down the tranny again in about 2 weeks and see whats going on.
lower control arm bushing... check the "inner" bushing after the shock one... car steers left if the left bushing is bad...
i just installed new ones, did alignment, and somehow the shop messed them up while they were setting the alignment.. i aligned in firestone (maybe they do this on purpose? who knows)...
anyway, now the car goes crazy. i've noticed some shops do **** to your car so you can go back to them and spend more of your hard earned money

LSD should actually rectify the problem since without it there's torque steer so when the bushings get worn out, it's more noticable since the car will swerve in the other lane if it's bad, like it was in my case.. you can kill yourself at high speeds if you don't change a messed up front bushing and shift at high rpms
So... say my lower control arm bushing is beat (or upper for that matter - I know I've had a squeak from the right front for a good two months). If it went bad... would it pull to the right? And if it did go bad, would the LSD actually expose this ball joint problem even more, such as pull even harder to the right? Assuming the LSD was installed correctly.
If it wasn't installed correctly, would the LSD pull a certain direction upon throttle??
Not trying to thread jack but I might also have a balljoint issue.

yeah, could be a balljoint/tierod/motor mount bushings.. could be a number of things... the reason i mention the front lca bushing is because i had this problem recently and installing new bushings rectified the problem
go under the car, shake stuff up, whatever you gotta do to figure out the problem
