Default Omni Sport spring rates

I was looking at the two different omni power coilovers and the sports are
listed at F=12k R=10k while the streets are listed at F=10k R=8k

Can someone tell me what this means?

I remember a while back when i ordered my GC's and Konis and i had spring rates that looked more like 500/400... or something like that.

So what does 12k and 10k mean?

TIA

Multiply the number by 56 (close enough) to convert into pounds.
