Default is my clutch master cylinder shot?

i went to go to work this morning and the clutch pedal went straight to the floor and stayed there. i've had to add clutch fluid maybe 2 times in the last 5 months, but this just happend overnight. it was fine when i parked last night and this morning, nothing. wtf?

could have clutch or slave cylinder or a leaky line ..i would chk all hydraulic componets and replace as needed .... make sure you bleed system real good

From your description it could be the master or the slave, or even the line between. You gotta find where the fluid is going. Look under the dashboard, where the clutch piston rod goes thru the firewall. Sometimes the fluid leaks there & soaks into the carpet. If so, it's your clutch master.

Leaking clutch slave should be visible on the tranny housing, since the slave is located out there.

thanks for the help, i'll check for leaks when i get home. couldn't this morning because it was pouring rain (of course)

btw, anybody know how much this could cost me?

The parts alone cost me around 70-75 dollars. Changing it was relatively easy on my 92 accord ex. But u need help on bleeding the system after putting the parts in <this is when little brothers come in handy>
