Default Type R cams found a weird set. Not sure if type R or not Tried search.

I bought a pair of type R camshafts. But the weird thing is they dont fit the description i found here is the link. My cams have the same grooves as the 92-93 b17 cams but they have the single ring on the innerside that the ITR cams have. Lemme know what you think. Very interesting. I already installed them and i have mixed thoughts if they helped or not. http://www.g2ic.com/forums/sho...12569

On my DOHC ZC, the cams were stamped PM7 on the ends. It corresponds with the proper ECU which is marked PM7 as well. Same thing with my SOHC, certain parts were stamped with a similar code that matched the ECU like PM5. Do you recall seeing a code stamped on your cams and if it matches an ECU in a similar way? Sorry, I don't know what the codes are off the top of my head.

No there were no markings once so ever. I dont think b series dohc camshafts have markings. The cams i took out had no markings at all.

Yes, they are. I just know it.

Do you know if my intake manifold is from a Type R? It has no markings, but it has runners for four cylinders. Thanks.

what a moron........well i think they are crower cams because the end markings look the same a set of crower 63401T cams i saw at my friends shop minus the etchings at the end. Do all crower cams have part numbers engraved into them?
