well i got my car back from the bodyshop yesterday and they did a great job...it seriously looked perfect. however, my car just got backed into while it sat in a parking lot about an hour ago. the passenger side mirror is toast and there is a dent running from halfway down the passenger door all the way to the rear wheel. the worst part is that the person just hit it and left. i'm seriously getting sick of this poo poo.

no, none. i called the police and they basically said that i was out of luck. i suppose the car is just going to have to stay dented until i can get some more money together to fix it--the last bodyshop bill pretty much broke the bank.

 

That freaking sucks dude! Sorry to here about that.

dang, this is like the 5th hit 'n run ive heard abou tthis week on this board! its like dumbasses are looking for H-T members to hit and take off!!

 

When I had my Si, my best friend was picking it up for me from the bodyshop after being rear-ended at a light. To make a long story short, on his way home, a woman ran a stop sign and he wound up hitting her. I know how you feel, and it's pretty bad.

Damn!!! I am right there with you dude. I got hit the other day in a parking lot...hit and run. I will be taking my car to get fixed on Feb 27th so I am going to try my butt off to find a daily driver. The feeling just sucks when you baby gets scared but especially you!! Right out of the shop and then bamb! Sorry to hear that!

 

someone should start designing a remote self powered tiny camera to put in our car to monitor the car while it's parked or something...
i'm sure there's something close to it now in the market...
i really hate those people who hide behind their crimes.....

 

yeah well unfortunately i'm not really going to be able to afford to fix this one for a while so an already crappy situation sucks even more...

 

If everyone that saw other people hit cars and bail out left notes for the victim, these crappy deals would be far less frequent. But These days no one cares about anyone else anyway...

 

Crap, thipoo poo and run business needs to stop. After my hit and run incident a few days ago, I'm making a conscious effort to park within the view of building or parking lot security cameras whenever possible. This is ridiculous. Sorry to hear about your 2nd loss.

 

i read about a hit and run like everyday on here. I think the laws for hit and runs should start and be more hard. this way people will think twice about leaving the scene.

anyway sorry about the car. if you get this fixxed and you get hit agian. its about time for a new car, that would be some real bad luck
