Painting
My fender, front bumper and hood all need painted. I just bought the car and the guy before me hit a deer and replaced all of these parts. I am just wondering some good prep work to do for the body before i painted it.
Like what grit sand paper in what order. How many coats of primer, paint, and clear. Any links or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

oh lord...ummmm
Dood, I would recommend have it professionally done.
If you are adament on doing it yourself, please do
a few months of research and hands on.
Otherwise, your results will disappoint you.

first of all...i plan on doing it on an old trunk lid i have laying around before i do it on the car. Second i'm just needing some advice or what grit sand paper and stuff for the prep work or any links for this kind of stuff. I don't need people saying i should get it professionally done.
This is not a show car so i'm not looking for best quality i'm just needing it painted so it doesn't look as bad. And i don't have the $$ to go out and spend it on a nice paint job otherwise i would. I have other priorites other than my car.
