WHATS THE DIFFRENCE IN A97 N 98 TYPE R SUSPENSION??
I WANNA KNOW WHAT THE DIFFRENCE IN A 97 TO A 98 TYPE R SUSPENSION??? I JUST BOUGHT A TYPE R FIVE LUG SUSPENSION OF A 97 TYPE R N I HAD A SET OF 98 TYPE R AXLES N THEY WONT FIT ON THE SPLINE OF THE SPINDLE??? DONT UNDERSTAND IVE NEVER SEEN NOTHING LIKE THAT BEFORE,,, I DONT KNOW IF IN 97 THE SPLINES WERE SMALLER THAN THE 98S IN THE OUTER SIDE OR WHAT??? SEE IF YALL CANT HELP ME OUT! THANKS

the JDM 98-01 axles are larger than the 97-01 usdm axles. 36mm compared to 32mm. all USDM axles and hubs work together along with JDM 96-97 axles. but the JDM 5 lug is different than the USDM 5 lug so the axles are not interchangable.
on the bright side of things, i'll buy ur axles for 50 bucks.
