i was wondering how to put tranny fluid in a stock dx hatch is a 5 speed tranny cable thanks ....

 

Easiest way I have found is to pull the fill plug on the tranny (the top plug close to the pass. axle) and then pull the gear unit on top were your spedo cable plugs in. Mine has a single 10 mm set screw in it. Remove that whole unit and you can put a trans. funnel in that hole and fill till fluid runs out the fill plug hole.

 

drain trans, reinstall andtighten drain plug, remove reverse light switch, insert funnel, pour in 3 quarts of 10w30 or honda mtf, tighten reverse light switch. go for drive screaming bwaaaabmwaaaaaambwaaaa out the window
