Default rad fan not comming on

ok i bought a new fan and a new sensor and the fan still will not come on. the motor is a jdm d15b sohc vtec. i got the sensor that sits on the thermostat housing from a 93 civic ( brand new ) and a brand new fan. i am completly lost now. the fuses are good. i do remember though that when the shop that swapped out my hf motor for this one wired up my fan then had jumped the wires for the sensor on the back of the block together so the fan stayed on as long as the car was in the on position. then the fan motor went due to the fan being on all the time. so i had my boy wire it up correctly, nothing. bought a new fan and put it in, nothing. replaced the sensor, nothing. even checked the wireing and switched the 2 wires incase they were backwards and i still get nothing. anyone else have any other suggestions? car has been converted to obd1 if that helps any. thanx.

could be a bad cooling fan relay - located on the inner fender panel, just behind the passenger side headlight

get a wiring diagram, thats step one. Next trace your power and check at all fuses/relays/consumers. if you get power all the way to the fan and the fan does not come on check for ground. If there is source voltage after the fan then the fan is bad. If there is no voltage at the fan find where its being lost. If its a blown fuse you have a short to ground most likely, good luck
