Default b20/vtec 12.5:1 dyno...

Went to a group dyno event, and got a few runs in to see what shes doing... car has been "street tuned" and not dyno tuned yet...

**Ignore the 2nd run's A/F ... something got fucked up...

B20B4
84.5 mm 12.5:1 Weisco Pistons
Eagle rods
B18c1 head
Skunk 2 stage 2 cams
Skunk 2 springs/retainers
Skunk 2 adj. cam gears
Skunk 2 Intake Manifold

nice torque! it will be interesting to see what the dyno tune will squeeze out of that motor.

On a posative note I found out my tach is a bit laggy....I shut it down at 8200 on my tach the first 2 runs... on the 3rd one I watched the dyno... wooops...

There is alot of power hiding somewhere in that setup. My guess is around 15-20 more hp.

Congrats man, what kind of car is it in?? I have an Ls/Vtec 99 coupe, put down 201whp and 142ft/lbs, and it hauls ***. So in a smaller car, with a better tune, that would be pretty fun to drive. I know there is more power on tapp though. Good job!!!

I gotta ditch teh shitty crush bent 2.5 and get a nice header... and maybe fab up or save up for some ITBs

nice numbers

maybe someone can answer this. why it is that a ls/vtec or gsr or itr with high compression can almost put the same numbers with a b20 vtec. does it just move the torque band lower?

depending on elevation it varies.

Don't look at peak power, bigger motors make more power through out the graph.
