Expo 5: THANK YOU WES (White Dragon) !!!
I know we've thanked Wes a hundred times for taking charge of Expo 5 and pulling off a great event, but he deserves some more public appreciation. I know I can't fully appreciate the work and time he's put in and the sacrifices he's made to "make it look easy" to the rest of us, but I assure everyone it wasn't an easy job. My hat's off to you Wes, and to all of the organizers (Budman, Lance, Chris N, Jetydosa, and others I'm probably forgetting).
Thanks Wes and all the sponsers. That was the best time of my life. This was my first track event that I have done and it will not be the last. I think Im hooked!
Thanks again
Thanks again
Thank you Wes for a great weekend.
Beautiful car btw.
edit: I thanked all organizers collectively in my Expo 5 thread, but I need to give a special thanks to the 1 and only Super Handling ChrisN for giving me the winning banquet ticket.
For an event this size to go so flawlessly and stay pretty much on schedule is absolutely amazing. Thank you Budman, ChrisN, Lance and anybody else that I don't know about. I hope I get invited to the next one.

thanks a bunch wes for having enough faith in my ability to be an instructor. i've been on H-T for a few years now, and always thought the expo was a great event from the outside. now after participating, i can say i've been a part of one of the great car-club events in existance. the dedication and friendship displayed this weekend reminded me of our local Spec Miata group, but you guys are even more impressive given you only get together about once a year, and are so much farther apart.
thanks again.
thanks again.

Thanks to the entire group.
In addition - Thank you to the ITRCA community for helping out those in need...
Brandon - blown clutch = several offers for replacements
Brian - O2 problem (go kick your technician in the nutz for that one) & then probably a blown head gasket = 6 or 7 people (Dave, Dan, Jim, etc... helped diagnose)
Chris F - waste gate issues = nothing a little epoxy can't TRY to fix
Dave Ott - Radiator problem = trip to lincoln required
Nobody was asking for big $$. Instead the community came together to help these and others.
Short Story = Best Expo yet!!

Thank you very much everyone that was offering to pitch in and get that clutch put back in. Thank you Jeff for all the help all weekend. Thanks for offering to help me out and also for taking me out on a few sessions.
Big thanks to everyone Chris N for helping me etc etc.
I had a great time getting to know you all and I am looking forward to putting either this Si with a new clutch on the track or an ITR
I met a lot of AWESOME people and I am glad I went

Thanks to Matt Dropspeed and Ed Sackdz4 for towing Justin's disabled LS from a Sonic like 5 miles away back to the hotel Friday night. It made his weekend.
When we got there, Justin asked me, "So, how do we find someone that can help fix it?"... I responded, "Just start the motor." Like moths to a flame, the drunken mob flocked to the lopey idle and misfiring cylinders, and had it fixed with spare parts and a lot of know-how from Jack.
If I was Wes, I'd have been cracking under pressure when things weren't going quite on schedule or people were showing up late on Sunday...
But he did an awesome job! Thanks Wes!

hehehe...
Fortunately I keep some 2000F rated exhaust glue in my toolbox. UNfortunately it's completely useless, and it fell off in 20 minutes. It was a noisy drive home

Thanks Wes! Awesome event. Without you I'm not sure we could have done as good a job this year. Big thanks to lance for everything. I was extrordinarily busy all day friday and saturday at the track and hotel.. and wes and lance were busier than I was. big to them two.
Thanks to cheezthis for helping me out big time on/off over the weekend. And those that helped with registration. Those few who basically did registration all day friday.. i owe joo guys. and thanks to sean for being my co-pilot and helping me pack/unpack/etc. was a damned fun trip.
Thanks instructors!
Good to see everyone again.. and to meet new peoples. Great to meet all of you.
Thanks AA (omgad dorifto rain session!!!), Ryan, Travis for letting me drive the R's to remind me why I love that car so much! and for making me sad i no longer have one (and will be forever a backmarker at future expos )
I'm too tired to express my thoughts on this year's expo, other than it was excellent. I can't think of anything that didn't go really, really well.
and THANKS for some great running on track. The novice and intermediate groups really improved all weekend. Heck, they started off really good.
Hopefully everyone is getting home safely, if not already there.
can't wait for expo 6. I can't even think about anything to do with it at this point.... too exhausted.
chris - who got rolled badly on track, but really enjoyed the car, no matter how slow i was in comparison....

Thanks for the awesome event Wes!! I wish I would have been able to drive.
I had a great time when I was around, and it was nice meeting everyone. Hopefully, next year, I'll be able to travel to wherever the expo is and actually drive too.

Budman, Wes, the sponsors, KC Crew, and all the ITR Crews... I wanted thank to everyone who made my first expo the best experience of my life. Expo 6 here we come!
Budman...I wanted to thank you again for bring me out to the expo. Honestly... without your support and faith in me...I propbably wouldn't have made it. But I did...and I was kicking some *** out there.
Also thank you to everyone who helped out with looking at my R on Friday....I was the PY R with electrical problems....problem somewhat solved...and on Sunday.. ran into another problem...which we think it might be a headgasket. Oh well...it's in the shop ready to be looked at.
Again...I had a kick *** time racing at the track with everyone.
Thanks everyone!
