Default How are the "H" emblems mounted?

Last night we had a very high wind storm/shower/monsoon whatever you want to call it. The winds were high enought to shear off my rear "H" emblem.

I was wondering, how is it mounted to the trunk? I see 2 holes there.

Thanks.

im not 100% possitive but i think there are two plastic clip like things that go into those 2 holes and possible some adhesive. that must have been some wind! unless some jack *** took it.

I see. Nah, it was there last night when I parked my car, then gone in the AM after the storm passed. I live in a private, gated parking lot and there are no other Hondas in my lot plus I get along with everyone.

look into the holes... the 2 thingys that SHOULD be on the H probably broke off and are still in there. That H is so easy to take off and put on its not even funny :-\. If you really want it to stay just use some sort of glue.

theres two little cup looking things(plastic) that fill the holes and the plastic pins on the back of the actual emblem goes in it...

Dude, what kind of storm rips off emblems? Power went out 3 times. Trees broke in half. Roofs ripped off. All my window screens are in McAllen.

BTW, does Honda sell emblems?
