Expo 5 Aerial Pictures and Others
Amazing experience as usual! The Chicago caravan was such a sweet group. It’s sad that HecklerVTEC (Scott) sustained major damage to his car in the outer limits of the Chicago road construction. Hope you can get your car fixed soon Scott.
Marie, my girlfriend, was courageous to make the journey this year!
The trip offered a particularly rough start with the Chicago incident (two cars behind the accident) and then the tornado we encountered in Iowa! I’m still not convinced it was a full fledged twister but the storm was a scary situation either way. Glad everyone made it through without any damage.
Thanks to Wai for giving me a blistering ride around the track in the Spoon R! Doug (BabyNSX) was kind enough to provide me with excellent photography advice. It was fun hanging out with Stefan and Pete again.
Unfortunately I did not take any track pictures this year. The fly-over and airport travel took much of my time on Saturday. Marie and I left mid-day on Sunday without returning to the track. I’m looking forward to seeing pictures by Doug (BabyNSX), Yoshi and others who were shooting trackside. Hope everyone posts their favorite pictures and can’t wait to see the Expo 5 video by Evan (Eluder200k)!

Parking lot at Holiday Inn.

A rare picture, of myself.

Our opinion of traffic jams in NE.

One method to guarantee your Type R will soon be ready for a JDM front-end.

Wai’s Spoon R

Passenger in Wai’s vehicle.

Evan - Man behind Expo 3 video.

Time to board the Cessna 172 – First time ever to get a sick stomach while flying (turbulent winds above MAM)! The pilot this year was safety minded, so we could not get any super-low approaches.

Everyone should still be able find themselves in the high resolution group pictures. Enjoy!

Man, those pics are awesome, looks like it was a lot of fun. I wish I could've been there. Although I cant complain though, my weekend was a good substitute for not being able to make expo.
Damn straight I look sexy when driving ITR #547! Thanks for giving me the opportunity (and the trust) to drive it Josh! I must say, I wasn't quite sure what to expect @ an ITR Expo...but I did have a lot of fun and have gained a new respect for the vehicle! It's quite a turn on, actually!
And I was honored that Josh would actually want his "I love the color pink and don't know a lot about cars" girlfriend to accompany him! The aerial shots are great, baby! And by the way - I swear that was a tornado, and you can believe what you want to...but I'll stick with the "I survived a tornado on the way to Expo 5" story, okay? And if you show my freak-out tornado video - you're dead, okay Sweetie?
Thanks - to everyone - for a great experience at Expo 5!
