EF-9 loses power and then stalls after 20 minutes
Hello,
I just picked up a '91 EF-9 in good condition and on my way home it started to lose power until it stalled out. Once it was restarted it ran fine for another 20 minutes and repeated until I got home. it runs fine and then chokes up.. it shows no engine codes or check engine light. Can anyone give me an idea?
Thanks,
Marc J.

First thing, is it a EF9 or an ED6? second off i had some what of the same problem and mine was becuz my battery wasnt holding a charge. do you have to wait awhile to start it again?
it is the dual port fuel injected automatic. I plan on doing a 5 spd conversion with my swap. It came with a new battery, alternator and distributor from what he said.
I'm guessing he tried to fix it before he decided to sell.
