96-98 ebay ctr replica headlights
i have a red 96 ek hatch, and i hate my clear headlights, but i dont want to pay upwards of like $500 bucks for hop ctr headlights, when i can get replicas for around 100 bucks shipped. But......do the replicas have any major flaws or differences between the real ones, caz i dont want the headlights to stick out like a sore thumb and have some1 glance at my car and say those are the "fake ones"
sorry, here are the headlights................... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors..._home
besides looking like cheap knockoffs they'll leak like a sunken ship, causing the bulbs to die quicker...and also look like **** with all the condensation inside.

sometimes they have the ion tint to it.
(ugly looking in my opinion)
what I did was, take my OEM headlamps, opened it (with a heat gun)
painted the housing with Black paint, and the orange reflector with orange paint.
Then glued it back together with bathroom tile sealant.
Looks pretty good.
