Sold my civic to fund my trip down under and now I am using my time without a ride to do some research on projects. I will have about 8000 (us$) upon my return to canada and want to buy a heap and start a project. Clean look, some newer OE parts, good suspension, and some sort of engine swap. Which chassis/engine build would you recommend? I have always loved both the 2nd and 3rd gen tegs and now its time to decide

Are the 2nd gen's lighter?? This could play a factor also

gen2s are lighter, my rs is i believe 2425 lb....and with some stuff removed its like 2350 ....any gen2 are better

 

Clean G2 will outshine a clean G3 anyday man. G2's have a much better Japanese car Look, also We need more Clean *** G2's there are too many badly done we need to make up for it with clean *** ones.
