just dynoed, hoping for some comments on motor's potential..............
hey guys, *****added dyno plot******
I had my car on a mustang dyno last year, my air fuel was pretty good and I put down an unbelievable 222 whp and 149 lbs/trq.
this year, on a superflow (comparable to a dynojet i beleive ), i did two quick pulls and put down 187 whp and 133 lbs/trq. Since last year i changed my edelbrock pro-flow header to a J-spec 4-2-1 header and my crush bent 2.25 inch exhaust to a 2.5 inch mandrel bend system.
Here is my mods list:
b18b block, b16 head
jdm spoon balanced itr pistons
skunk2 IM and Stage 1 camshafts
aem cam gears
stock b18b throttle body
aem ls intake
b + M fpr
4-2-1 j spec header, custom 2.5 inch exhaust with straight thru ss magnaflow resonator and apex-i N1 universal turbo sized muffler
Last year at the dyno, my car gained one whp and one wtrq from adjusting the cam gears 2 degrees advance on intake cam and 2 degrees retarding on the exhaust side. Since i only did two pulls, with some time in between pulls that cam adjustment may have lost me power. when i dynoed this year, my baseline after just warming up the car was 184, with 187 whp about 3 minutes later with the motor warmed up. I am only taking my car to 8000 rpms, so in my upcoming tune I am figuring to rev up to 8400 rpms, assuming my cams are still making power.
I am going to be sending out my tb to be bored out by spaceballs on h-t (67 mm outside with 64mm at the butterfly. I may actually tune before getting it back using an itr TB from a friend and changing my stock IM gasket for a hondata one.
Given my current set-up, and the changes for tuning (ITR TB and hondata im gasket), with a full tune using uberdata and cam tuning does anyone think that 200 whp is a reasonable goal to shoot for? my air fuel was almost bang on 13.5 last year, so i will have to see, once hooked up on the dyno with the 02 readings if adjustments can be made.
Sorry for the long rant, i've got print-outs of the power at rpm, but no dyno chart, i make even just make one up using a miscrosoft works program lol so you guys can see the current curve.
Sorry for the long rant, after dynoing 223 whp last year, i knew i was going to dyno lower on the superflow, just not as low as i did. any comments would be appreciated, and a dyno graph will be up soon, hopefully.

Your dyno results are honestly going to depend on the dyno you use.
If what your looking for is peak numbers, go back to that mustang dyno that you made over 200 on
Boring your TB probably won't do all that much for you (1-2 whp) at the most.

UPDATED WITH GRAPH, excuse the home-made nature of it, took me 45 minutes on excel.
eh, still no replies. looks like next friday's tuning on the dyno with air/fuel may lead to a better thread
I was at least hoping someone could comment on the peak hp from skunk2 cams. They peaked right at 78XX before slightly dropping at 8 K redline. With tuning can i expect them to pull right to 8400 rpms
