What year does it say the car is? Never saw a Civic CRX 1500 S, not even a first-gen. There WAS a Civic 1500 S, but the '85 CRX made the jump to the Si for its sporty model, and there WAS no "sporty" '84 model to speak of.

Sounds like the DMV screwed up, but I don't think it's going to hurt you as long as the year and VIN match your car.

I have both an ED8 and an ED9, {Dx and Si}

Both my emissions test and my insurance papers
say that the Si is a 1500cc..

The emissions test for the DX says that it is a 1600cc..

The title on either of the cars does not mention the engine size but
it seems that this is a common bit of bad information
shared between insurance companies and motor vehicle departments ..
I would not worry about it..

Carfax says my car is a 91 CRX Si-SE and the DMV says my car is a 4dr Automatic. Took 4 hours to fix this, playing bingo @ the dmv. Get it straightend out asap or when you get pulled over the police will think your swaping VINs.
