Default 5th Gen SiR Exhaust

does anyone know if it would be possible to buy a stock JDM SiR 5th Gen accord exhaust? and what the specs of it would be, like piping size and if it would be better than an aftermarket exhaust like greddy or apexi. and of course how much it would cost to get it. I need it to fit directly with the h22 in my car. im assuming if will bolt directly cuz the Accord SiR came w/ an h22. if anyone knows, it would be much appreciated.

i bet it wont be any better than another stock accord exhaust. afterall a greddy or apexi exhaust for a prelude is larger diameter than stock piping....

exact same piping...theres a reason why Vtec preludes CAN pick up near 10whp just from a cat back.....all stock h22's cat breathe

I used the H22 Header, H22 cat and Accord exhaust (Tanabe specifically). The H22 set-up left about 2" for a cat.. so.. you take the Tanabe mid pipe, have it cut .. reweld the flange .. and your alllllllll set in that deartment.

you can see the H22 cat sits about a foot back.. nnmmm kkkk ...

yo can see the new sized pipe here .. i donno the magnaflow cat sits crooked .. a round cat, might have been better, but clearance wasnt really effected m..

old mid pipe was like a 1.5 feet, heres what it looks like now ..

re-welded flange ..

Maybe you only need the cat & mid pipe. .. theres accually a small peice of pipe that was on my Accord cat still .. Its possible it could fit instead of modifying the mid-pipe .. but i dont think it will for some reason ..

ya in a sense, thats pretty much what i did, but i cut the end of hte header and the end of the cat-back and just welded up a universal high-flow cat. its pretty much exactly like those cats that everyone buys on here that looks like a stock cat but is really a high-flow but is just another brand.

i ditched my cat all together and ran the kteller system with test pipe...let me say, the h22 was begging for breath and 2.5" seems to have hit the spot...
