Yup.
As far as the sound, I pulled my lower resonator out (my 96 ex had 2, one behind the filter box and one in front of the wheel well) and it made the intake sound noticably deaper between 3 and 5 thousand RPM. I've actually had a few people ask if I had and intake or exhaust.

sounds deeper, fools lots of pppl thinking u hav cai or exhaust....but isnt it easier for water to get in?...and leaves and dust and such?
