15/16"MC question/2 problems
-So I have a 15/16" MC into a 93cx with a stock power booster.
The problem is that when I try to put the new master cylinder on the booster, for the bolts to align correctly, the MC is rotated 90degrees and the reservoir sits at an awkward angle almost completely on its side (horizontal). I removed the PB and i will try installing it upsidedown to remedy this.
now it appears as though the MC will not go completely into the PB. The rod and the enlarged section where the rod seal presses into slides into the end of the PB but not all the way. The 'wings' of the MC with the bolt holes do not fit flush with the PB. Can i run it like this? is this bad? how can I fix it?
any help is wanted and much appriciated.
also hit me up if you want a 15/16" mc, I have one for sale.

dont try to installithe booster upside down. thats not the way and it wont work. get one used at hap in rancho cordova. i mean get a mc and booster from integra 94-01 and custom the lines to fit...youll like the power of the brakes a lot better. but you want that mc to work with a correct booster then get a booster from a 90-96 integra rs or ls. or a honda civic ex or si with abs from a 92-95 those are the boosters that fit you car for a 15/16 mc. good luck

Re: (egtwincam)
thats for replies, I have the GSR rear disks and am gonna do the fronts soon too.
I actually found the 15/16MC out of a totalled hatch and junkyard and out of a 93 4 door EX. I ended up just using stock 13/16 for now with my new PB, but will look for a rs or ls booster. Thanks,

If you want to use the 15/16" Integra master cylinder you will need to also use an integra non-abs brake booster, you can use an integra MC and civic booster. I know the RS came with no abs. If you try to use the 15/16 with an abs booster your brakes will lock up. I learned this first hand when I did my rear disk conversion. If you need to buy an Integra 15/16" MC I have one for sale. Pm me if interested.
